An internal memo from U.S. retailer Target has revealed that the price of non-slim Xbox 360 models is to be cut by $50 on Tuesday. Microsoft unveiled a new slimmer Xbox 360 console with a 250GB HDD and internal 802.11n WiFi for $299, the same price point as the Xbox 360 Elite console that comes with a 120GB HDD. It should also be noticed that so far only Target has confirmed doing a price cut; but other companies will likely follow suit pending on how well the slim models sell as the need to rid older stock rises.
