My blue Ray on My PS3 is not working when I put in the disc it says that have to find a update for my escryption but idk what to do so someone help me please and tell me how to fix it??

I would be guessing that you do not have the PS3 connected to the internet and the BD (if it?s a movie) has a more modern encryption that you need an update for.

Use the firmware update tool...but be ware that you will loose linux if it is installed.

I googled that. You must be running an old PS3 Firmware. You need to update. I think the latest is 3.40 . If you want the pre-lose-Linux firmware, there may be sights that have 3.3 or 3.2 . I'm not sure. If you have a flash drive, go to Playstation's site and save the Update to the flash and transfer it to the PS3.

Not much point trying to save linux if you are using the PS3 as a bluray player...it is only a matter of time (and not much time) before you get a disk that needs 3.21 or above...then it is goodbye linux.

Join one of the lawsuites...there are lots of them because of this crap!
