How to play ps1 games on psp 5.50 GEN D?

the title says it all, i have a fat psp with CF 5.50 GEN D and 2 ps1 games that've been ripped from the original ps1 disc in .img format. What do I need to get it work since I have no idea whatsoever all even after I've been searching for ways all over the net I still have no idea how to even start.

well i just use ps1 eboots. heres a link to convert psi iso to eboot.link after its all done just place folder that eboot is in, in the game folder of your psp. hope this helps.

Thanx man but the problem is my PSP is bricked it went pass the Pop station load screen and stuck at the black screen. Any solution since its bricked now
