Ok, so regarding a previous post, my old zephyr unit RROD so I picked up a barely used Falcon 360 that has a 2.0.7363 dashboard, and a local is going to jtag service it for me.
I've read some guides on getting started and such, but is there anything I DONT want to do to it, as in a newb mistake and botch it up? He's going to put on freeboot and get it ready for homebrew and emu's etc. Also he will bridge those 2 points on the board instead of removing the R6T3 resistor(s) or whatever that alternate method is. (in case it ever wants to be undone) Said the resistor doesn't need to be removed if the solder bridging is done.
And speaking of this, I know it's impossible to say for future-proofing, but is there a possibility that when a new peripheral (the Kinetic) comes out, can hooking it up blow an efuse or ruin the jtag ability somehow? Or is this not possible the way hardware interacts with the 360? Just curious.
Thanks for any info!

Just google FreestyleDash guides to get started as it has copy and paste and Kinetic won't blow any e-fuses as bridging the R6T3 resistor prevents this.
Thanks for the reply man. The other thing is (and the guy who is doing the work is knowledgeable, but doesn't mess with account transferring outside of going onto live)so...
How do I use the gamesaves/files/DLC (bought legit from live) from my old HDD (that was used on my old RROD zephyr box, onto my new jtag box? (which has previous owners account data? I don't want to lose all my game saves and start over. I know the xbla games I got can be dumped back in through jtag software apps, but how do I get the game to recognize my save content from a different(dead)xbox?
Is it some kinda method using that Yaris program?
Nobody can help clear up (or give a link) on how to get my old non-jtag 360 hard drive DLC, to work in my new jtag 360? Can I just make the same login name? Do I have to use Yaris or something similar?

Correct. I bought RockBand DLC and some stuff like Castlevania and Bionic Commando rearmed. I read the XeXmenu can do this without having to transfer to PC and yaris from the PC. I guess it used to be required to do it from the PC, and now isn't necessary. Is that true?
(but Yaris is still needed for any xbla stuff that is found online, if you catch my drift)
