article published on 21 June, 2010

They wont lose the normal theater watchers, but have the opportunity to gain the people(like me) who wont pay for the ticket, drink, snacks etc. Us who wait will be more inclined to look at that option.

Basically they are concerned that more people will realise that movie theatre tickets are over priced and will just wait for 2nd tier release. Hell, more and more people have nice flat screens at home, what are you missing not going to the cinema with most movies?

You are so right! The cost of the ticket is nothing compared to the hosing you take on outrageously-priced snacks! Who can afford it?

I rarely ever go to the theaters anymore, I'm tired of getting into fights with people to tell them to shut up and stop talking or using the phones and don't wont to get escorted out by the police anymore.

I rather just watch it on my big TV and home theater system, and pay for my own food, and just like the other guy and pause the movie so I can pee or take poop... haha

Totally not worth going to the movies with the cost of prices, snacks etc.
