Google has announced that the most popular video sharing site on the planet, YouTube, will now offer full-length, current episodes of WWE (World Wrestling Entertainment) programming.
The new deal will include current episodes of Friday Night Smackdown, WWE NXT, WWE Superstars, and ECW.

ECW was canceled several months ago, and replaced with NXT.

Putting the PPVs on youtube, unless they designed a pay service is not smart from a business perspective. These PPVs are released on DVD in about 2-3 months from the air date giving the company to make more money off the show and enabling those who might not have been able to spend $40-$50 on the ppv, to but the DVD for $20 or so.
Um...I thought most of these programs were live, and on network tv? Isn't this the case?
If you want to see it live, then YouTube isn't for you anyway...this is more for people who want to watch last night's match while they are at work, riding the bus, or somewhere where TV just isn't available. This service won't even affect DVR tune-ins...as the broadcast version is still going to be much better quality than the YouTube version.
