k780 firmware will not load

hi k780 arrived yesterday went through the set up as guide would not reconise port went to devise manager it showed com 8 tryed that but still no joy tryed to start download anyway but stated download not reconised the file says 750 is this ok for 480 tryed on xp and vista any help would be welcome

try it on com1 or 3
also use the firmware for the a780

you cannot use any other firmware on your box except the one for your box the comport has to be set to 1 to 4 only and then follow instructions on the link hooter gave you above

when i try to open bin file it reverts to a box asking me for a bin file port set at 4

you dont open the bin file the file is for the loader to load to the box

i was doing a extra step without knowing i had all ready installed firmware i will scan tomorrow had enough going to watch football once again ta for all your help
