Microsoft has announced that it is selling seven copies of Windows 7 every second, making it the fastest selling operating system in the company's history. More realistically, most IT managers are pushing to get windows 7 so they don't have to keep fixing the vista machines every week.

I call BS, why? 7 copies of 7, really. you need to get a new campaign director MS.

Agreed, I think they trying to boast in hopes of creating more sales; but in all honesty nobody freaking cares. Most people by 7 cause they need it, or are comfortable with it. Others will simply steal it, which is like 7 times the number its sells.

ill get a pirate version before i buy the legit version and must say i still prefer xp but 7 is 2nd

7 is not as bad as Vista, but like Mystic said, if people are comfortable with it, go for it. Personally I only use it to sync my iPhone; and as soon as that done I reboot and run back to Ubuntu; which until now, hasn't failed me like every Window$ OS out there did.

Considering that much of it is pirated from other corporations, technically, every copy of windows 7 is pirated.
