hi all i've ran a search on this but can't find anything on it,my box is showing a purple light ( usually red or blue )it's not doing anything,nothing on the screen at all and not responding to the remote. i've switched it on and off and left it off over night but still nothing.......anyone else had this fault thanks in advance..

never seen it myself but on another forum i heard of others trying>>>>>>>>>
use the null came and update the abs files 250909 frm RS232 cable.. put Com3 on Com1, and when u go to next screen, high light Chunk, or Chunk all, and open files 250909 and let it upload, then do a deep scan

hi hooter i have never needed to connect this box to a computer as it's all done via usb and don't have the lead but will look into it and get back thanks again..

1100 purple light fix
power off box
conect null modem lead (YOU NEED CABEL FOR THIS METHOD )
run loader
com 1
click connect
power on box
select main code
then select your abs file from your pc (normal file you would put on usb stick )
click connect and will load file blue light will come back on best reflashing with usb again
I suggest you make a folder on your desktop and download all of these file's and follow steps above then
No1 file here
No2 file here
No3 file here
No4 file here

e45 my laptop won't open those files once downloaded saying i must search the web for software i'm running vista don't know if that's anything to do with it.i now have the cable but when i connect the box to the laptop nothing happens....please excuse my utter lack of computer skills i'm a welder and don't use the computer a great deal..

you dont open them, you load them as per above instructions, download the files and the use the loader to flash yer box

ok laptop is saying cannot connect to serial port ? i assume the loader is the upgrade file as that is the file that says com1..

its comport 1 you need to set your pc at then follow the instructions just like before flashing a box with a null modem cable before usb came out

done that laptop still won't pick the box up giving up on this off to bowlers on saturday and buy a new one.....many thanks to all who took the time to try and help me cheers..
