the title says it all. been out of the loop for awhile my psp is still running 3.03OE-C. so need a update on how to get it to the latest firmware. i got the psp when it first came out so is the oldies.

Use hellcat`s recovery flasher 1.6 put the downloaded 5.0 update to u`r root called 500.pbp

create a folder @PSP/GAME called Recovery put the files from the hellcat package in there

goto recovery and press x @ start program@

1.6? so we dont use 1.5 recovery anymore? and this is not a slim as i said is the old big ones just want to make sure

I no i never seen a slim with an OE firmware
the slim was always flashed with pandora before hen 5.03
and yes u don`t need to go to 1.5 the 1.6 is the version from the recovery flasher (not a firmware version) that bring's you direct to 5.0 m33-6
