the kinect will never work as advertised, the movie industry spends millions on motion capture just as the game industry does, ever wonder why the actors are wearing black suits cover in ping pong balls for the computer to track their movements? how could microsoft possibly release a piece of equipment that can do the same and sell it for $150.
thats not to say it wont track movements but its never gonna track them with enough detail to play anything more than a basic pong type game.
i would love to see it work, hell if it does i may just have to buy a xbox but i doubt it.
Even if it did work perfectly, would that change anything? The Sony Move isn't a great system, but at least they could make a realistic ping pong game, by means of camera, force feedback controller, and 3D glasses. They could even make a decent sword fighting game if they tried...but if it does not feel like whatever you are meant to be controlling, then you might as well be using a gamepad.
So the sony move might have about 5-10 decent games that are fun to play once in a while, plus the workout games; while the Microsoft Kin will only have the workout games and a few games that play better with a controller.
