Bloomberg is reporting today that Apple and Verizon have made a deal to bring the iPhone 4 to the US' largest wireless carrier. AT&T has exclusively been home to the iPhone since its original launch in 2007, and rumors of Verizon getting the device have cropped up every few months. Oh no....I work for a Verizon Wireless call center and this is going to be the top question everyone is going to call in about. Every time there is a rumor, we get flooded with calls about the Iphone coming to VZW. Well if it is true then I will be switching to Verizon Wireless. Oh and just to let everyone know, when it comes to release dates, please just check verizonwireless.com and sign up for the updates. We do not have any info or cost of any anticipated device(s).

lol you work for sucky company. I know verizon have a little advantage against ATT. I'm staying with ATT just because I can use ANY SIMCARD. With verizon your stuck with them and VERY high international rate. ATT Iphone still uses simcard and I can use any carrier in the world that still uses simcards (unlock, ofcourse).

Any international users may think twice before buying an iphone from verizon(RIPOFF).

...Or from buying anything from verizon...but there are a lot of people who never even leave their state, let alone the country.

Dude you dont get it. mexico is no where close international to our borders.

The beauty of having an unlocked cell phone is having "FREEDOM" to chose carriers where ever you are. Simcards are not that expensive either. Last week I was in europe, france, and simcard was FREE if I buy 1 hr of call and it cost me roughly 10 cents to call USA. Verizon can't and will never beat that. And today I'm in Asia. Simcard is FREE also if I buy this amount of minutes and still 1000% cheaper than verizon.

As I said verizon and other carriers that uses cdma will never have my business.

cool that u travel enough to care... every time i go on vacation out of the country i use cheap gsm unlocked phone for emergency purpose only...
Cell phone is only useful on the regular bases... I guess what works for me might not work 4 u. Everyone is different thank god for options.

This has been confirmed. The Apple phone WILL be able to be used on the Verizon system and will be for sale in the Verizon stores. I saw this last night on CNN and they gave a date but I am sorry that I did not catch the date of when this starts.
