My xbox stopped reading discs the other day and didn't recognize anything was in it or try and read it so i got a new drive to put in it. The original drive in the xbox was hitachi 78 version and the new one i got is also hitachi 78 so i dont tihnk i have to spoof anything. I want to try and swap the drives and i am aware that i have to switch the dvd keys but I'm not sure totally what to do. a few years back i flashed a toshiba drive but dont really remember much of it. i have jungleflasher 1.63 and want to switch the drives. i think it should be easy because i have the same drives but i don't know anything about the hitachi drives except they are flashed a little differently. can anyone help me with this drive swap? and i was reading a little on flashing the drive and it mentions osig or something along those lines and don't remember if i had to do it with the other flash and don't know if its needed in the swap. lastly, i have the via raid card thing and its installed to but for hitachi is something else needed to do this? If anyone can help t would be greatly appreciated thanks.

and if there is a tutorial for a drive swap that i missed if you could point me in the right direction. thanks
