hello, I have a softmoded wii and well I have just kinda lost my passion for wii games. Is there a way to turn my wii back or update so I can sell it?

dont listen to anyone who tells you that updating the wii wipes all forms of softmodding thats not correct. Updating your wii just patches already what you have on your wii. Now if you are updating newer updates nintendos updates will just remove the homebrew data and patch it with other data to not allow homebrew.

If you have already softmodded your wii traces of data will still be on it if you still perform an update. You need to use dop mod ios and remove all the unwanted channels / ios. Make sure u know which ios youved installed if you want to uninstall them. Same with channels. Uninstalling channels / system files necessary to the wii can cause a brick.

Yes, I agree with WiiGenius, there are vid guides & written guides on how to do this, but be careful, or you will brick. Never un-install any IOS under 200, or you will definitely brick (Unless you follow the guides correctly).
