I have all the correct settings... The Via Card has code 39... I deleted the viamraid.sys or whatever it was for it.
I have tried WinApi and PortIO on both my SATA ports since I don't know which one it is. I tried ModeB first and 79 unlock first. Both failed on both ports with both Win Api and Port IO with the drive ejected and not ejected.
Here are some JungleFlasher logs... sorry for the long post...

.........................................................................................................................................................................Playing 79Unlock Audio CD
It's been awhile since I flashed a 79 so I'm just going off the top of my head, but doesn't the JF guide say to press the Mode B button first, follow the instructions, and than play the 79 cd.
You have to get in mode b first so Windows will see the drive, then play the audio cd to unlock the drive.

Yes I've read that now... but I can't get it detected to send mode B.... on any port?

Try it with your onboard SATA rather than the Via 6421a
