Has anyone used any reballing services and is reballing a fix for RROD like forever no more problems? http://capitalcircuits.com/ I have just sent an email asking for a price what would you say is reasonable I'm thinking about £50 - £60 probably an hours work and wear and tear on the machine plus anymore then that and people would just by a new machine.

Lately it's getting tough doing reflows. Now with the release of the new 360, all the old versions just had a price cut. People with rrod's don't want to spend too much to get their old console fixed, and people doing reflows can't ask people to pay what the job is actually worth.
Myself, I still do reflows, but only when people come to me asking for one. I don't bother buying rrod's anymore and repairing them. It's just not worth my time anymore.
If he's reballing with leaded solder, it should be good. But, he'll be fixing the problem but not fixing the reason behind the problem. The console will still run hot. That's all due to poor console design regarding airflow.
So now you're back to square one. Do you want to shell out all that cash for a reflow and still have a console prone to overheating, or do you just want to spend a little more and buy a new Jasper Arcade.
