yes server is up you should only have 1 file on box "guinness"
also does it ay connected or not connected
and when you check ip address as in no.6 in check list. can you see it or just a load of 0000000

All ip numbers comes up,iv factory reset and put carling and factory reset again and put on guinness, both files and factory reset both times and still no joy, all channels are there but just not connecting so i can veiw only fta channels at the moment.

any one else who could not connect box, it was down to no ip address coming on the box from router, but you are getting it!
thanks, i have tried everything now and i am going to leave it for a few more hours if still no joy then i think i have no other option to flog it on, it has been going on since last friday and just about had enough but thankyou for all your help in the last week or two cheers
