Geohot jailbreaks iPhone 4

After jailbreaking the iPad in early April, the noted hacker Geohot went on a small hiatus.
Today, however, the hacker has posted again to his blog, showing off a picture of the iPhone jailbroken, with access to Cydia, the app store available to users with jailbroken devices.
That being said, it does not look like he will be releasing the jailbreak software anytime soon.

You can call the guy a prick but the man has a lot on his plate; it's not easy doing the shit he does, else there would be hacked devices everywhere sooner with easier access on how to's or tools in general.
The guy also doesn't get paid to do this, even if he does get the occasional donation. Someone of his intelligence no doubt has family/friends/a career that he needs to focus on and by rights he should. All those that wanna whine should maybe figure out a way to hack your own phone from scratch yourself to see how difficult it is without help.
If I can't hack something myself, I don't even bother; so again good for Geo, at least he's made it known its possible. Good luck to everyone else underground helping out and thank you to them as well.

So your telling me he has ZERO help from anybody (Dev-Team)? The only whiner is gehot when nobody praises him. He is the only hacker/cracker that states "Ive hacked the new iPhone IOS and PS3" but never actually proved it. He has done nothing after 3.1.2 besides bosting I've hacked this and I've hacked that and if you ask for the new JB I won't release it. Good, don't release anything...because he hasn't.

No it's because other dev teams are working on it and a solution was stated to be out in the coming weeks. Why Afterdawn doesn't post it no idea, but it is something google can find.

Its not paid, you never heard of volunteer organizations, even when getting donations they have to put it back into the business they are doing? Now before you rant that Geohot is not an organization know that I can't confirm whether or not he accepted donations I can only confirm people have tried to donate. The principle is still the same nonetheless.

Its not illegal to have ego or arrogance *and I not stating you claim/imply/or state it is*. It can however, make him an ass, but that is his choice. If he wants to alienate himself to that, then let him be alone for all we should care. Now here you have an interesting point, and I stand corrected by it. Again I answered half of this up top, it wasn't just by Geohots picture I think its possible. However the pic is confirmed fake, take a look at the below link that proves he is an ass but again who cares, he's not the first person to do this or will be the last:

Geohot is just like the kid in Kindergarten that tells everybody his dad is a fireman and then his dad comes in for show and tell and he's a janitor at Starbucks.
If he doesn't want to share or deal with people asking him for the release then he can keep it to him self and his hacking buddys. Don't post it on a blog for all to see.

LOL...he gave up on that months ago...if he contributed anything to the PS3 community, it was to give Sony a poor excuse to remove OtherOS support...and thereby, put a lot of hackers and pirates to work to get it back (along with a lot of other features that pirates would like).

Yea... I ain't to thrilled about that either. Sony sent me an email yesterday stating if I don't upgrade my firmware on my PS3, I will no longer be allowed on PSN until I do. I have the OtherOS feature, and I don't intend to remove it yet; but it annoys the *bleep* out of me that I can't even by expansions for my games.

The maturity level of your post actually displays your IQ, and the fact you are going through puberty.
Your just a waste of space and time kid.
I also gave up on the PS3 CFW but still have not upgraded the firmware. I also received the email from sony but blah blah blah about there terms and conditions. I only have a few games and don't ever go online to play or even use PSN so it doesn't effect me none.

I got maybe 5 games for my PS3, but still that's not the point; I should be able to access PSN without the need to upgrade. Ah well, its just less business they'll get from me.
