Opera has announced the release of a stable Opera Mini, version 5.1 for Android devices, replacing the 5.0 beta which has been available for a couple of months.
The stable update will offer an improved user experience and browsing performance, but otherwise is mainly a grouping of bug fixes.

IMO, its not half bad. It's faster then the Stock Browser, Dolphin Browser and X Scope Browser. I prefer X Scope despite being a bit slower then Opera but faster the Stock and Dolphin. The only reason I didnt stick with it, was because of the page rendering. I was always having to zoom in to read stuff where as that was not the case with any of the browsers I listed above.
