Microsoft's latest "Patch Tuesday" updates will be the last offered for Windows XP SP2 or Windows 2000 as had been previously announced. The Redmond-based giant issued four security-related advisories addressing several security bugs. Ah well, not too bothered as I'm on XP SP3 but I guess it's a sign of the net tightening a little.
I can't help thinking way too many people are running XP SP3 for them to seriously ditch support there.

I have a new copy of Win 7 sitting in it's wrapper and when SP1 for it is released I'll be making the move but not before.

WinXP for me is still much easier and straight forward to use. Vista && Win 7, 2008 Server and all the OS's after Vista, make a lot of things i need to do more laborious and hidden away. Win2k i thought was the best.
