Pandora not booting?

Ok my friend's PSP slim got bricked for some reason so I used my PSP phat(5.50 GEN-D3) to make a magic mem.stick & pandora battery.

I used "Rain's UltraLite MMS Maker for 1.50 Pandora" to make the magic mem.stick
and I used Hellcat's software to make the Pandora Battery.

I then inserted the memory stick into the PSP slim, held the L button then placed the pandora battery. The 'power' green LED lights up & the PSP screen then turns on(but still dark) but the 'memory stick' & 'WLAN' led lights are not lighting up at all! Is there anything I missed? I used fix someone else's PSP with these programs before and now it doesn't work...

nevermind I got it to work now, used Rain's MMS Maker for 3.71 Pandora instead.. sorry for the trouble.
