Although the Microsoft store and many retailers have had the motion control system priced at $150 for some time, the company had refused to confirm the price, officially.
Today, the mystery is no longer a mystery, as Microsoft has confirmed the official price is in fact $150. The system will ship November 4th as leaked, and will come bundled with "Kinect Adventures."

Sadly the bundle for $300 is only for the new arcade model with 4GB memory. So imo, I still don't think its a good deal; not a bad deal either, just in the middle.

thats a major overstatement. this is a microshaft product, not crapples.
and the price does suck a bit..im definitely not shelling out 150$ for this laggy piece of $**t

Sounds like (at least at first) the slim will only be available in the "Arcade" version...I wonder if it will be able to make use of microsoft's overpriced hard drives if you ever want to use one.
I watched the E3 presentation from Microsoft, and there's really not much on Kinect that looked appealing. Kinect Adventures looks like it'd be a fun party type game, and I thought it was pretty cool how it would take pictures during the parts of the game where you'd have to jump.
Joy Ride looked kind of dumb. You hold up your hands like there's a steering wheel to control the car, but it looked like it handled about as good as Mario KartWii does using the wiimote as a steering wheel.
The dance game looks dumb, but I guess it's good for fat peoeple who want to lose weight. Then the rest of the games were just more fitness games.
I just don't see Kinect being a huge success. I think it's going to be about as popular as eyetoy was on the PS2.
