Google has said today that 55.5 percent of all Android smartphones are now running 2.1 Eclair. 22.1 percent of Android users are still running 1.6 Donut and 18.9 percent are still using a variant of 1.5 Cupcake. The numbers are moving quickly, however, as in May in the figures were 37.2 percent for 2.1, 28 percent for 1.6, and a huge 34.1 percent for 1.5. I was runnin' Froyo on my Vogue but I went back to Donut because it still needs a lot of development for it to run as fast and flawless as Donut... Speed is already pretty close though, and that's with more visuals and such, so I can't wait for it to become more stable :)

Eclair was far too slow for me, looks much nicer though with the HTC Sense.

I'm on froyo on a good old htc hero so there's no excuse for almost everyother andriod phone not to be able to update, and everyone should have a message sent to them to let them know of the latest update avaliable
