Hi guys, this is probably a dumb question but can I just plug an ethernet cable into the Xbox 360 while FSD2 is running or will I get banned? Is the correct way to FTP it through a computer connected to the internet?

plug the cable in but make sure you are NOT logged into your profile. That should keep it from trying to connect to live.

FSD2 sucks. Would have been cool. Mine runs choppy and shows on profile. Big disappointment for me.

yes it shows on profiles and that will not change in any future releases and as for it "sucking" maybe your failed at setting it up correctly. It runs PERFECTLY for me and many others, Great work Team FSD.

What I mean by sucks, is the profile issue. I have to use another profile and I am a gamerscore junky. Oh well. The app itself is cool

Gamerscore junkie is more politically correct. Achievement whore is more offensive. We don't want to offend any of the whores (achievement-wise) out there.

Hey,
For my JTAG, I have all XBL ports blocked through my router. What port does FSD2 use to update? Because that may be causing some problems. I just don't want my jtag phoning home! lol

Just filter your Mac address. You should be able to set so that the xbox mac address cannot connect to the internet. I use to do it to piss the wife off all the time, :)

Haha that's funny.
Only problem though is that I want to be able to update FSD2 still, but keep the JTAG from calling M$
Any info?
Regards

Just sign out, have your xbox connect your Xbox to the internet via ethernet and boot FreestyleDash. Worked for me.
