Sorry in Advance but I'm having issues burning backups for my 360 games. I've poked around and tried some stuff I've read about and couldn't come up with any solution that worked. I've burned lots before but I just upgraded my firmware (lt 1.1) and got back into it. I bought a 15 pack of verbatim DLs, but ended up with 15 $2.75 coasters. tried with three different ISOs that worked for others so i don't think that's the issue. I'm using Imgburn and burning at 4x. I would be burning at 2x or 2.4x but whenever i set it to those i get a 'write speed miscompare' message, and i goes ahead and burns at 4x. Tried one with CloneCD, automatically went to 4 and then i got a buffer underrun. Whenever i burn with ImgBurn, i get these error messages.

The first layer always seems to be fine but the second layer always gets these errors, I wasn't paying attention to whether or not the missed sectors are always the same.
I uninstalled Daemon Tools and deleted the driver, no change. After getting frustrated I went out and bought a stack of Ridatas and burned one that worked. WHAAAA?
I bought the verbatim discs at a Staples in Canada, the ridatas from an independent computer store. Could it be an issue with these particular discs? should i switch vendors?
