Right (sigh), ok well i know bugger all about how you flash your console! so i did the cheat way and paid someone to do it yesterday. ok before i got this new firmware upgrade yesterday i was using the activation disc to get games to work! i was so fed up with it working when it feels like it i decided to get a upgrade on my liton drive? ok so i get home and i wanted to play red dead redemption that i had previously played on the old firmware... so its trying to read the game but then comes up with 'open tray' and again again again.... so the game would not work (as worked before, on activation disc) so i rang the place up and they said make sure its stealth with abg 360 as the games will only work on your console if they are stealth (im banned any way).... so i ran the iso through the software and here are my results......

I am just so fed up with things not working with this darn 360 and i don't seem to get he right answers! is it my discs (datawrite dvd-dl+r)? is it really the stealth? bad flash?
I know every says to use Verbatims but I have been using the Memorex ones since last year and they run great. Never had a problem with them and I've never burned a coaster with them. I get a good discount from working at Best Buy so either I can pay $18 for 25 Memorex or $22 for 20 Verbatim. Being the cheap bastard I am I go with the Memorex. It could also be your dvd burner that cause problems. There are so many variables but I have never had a problem at all.
Now what I would do is find a guide and follow it to a tee on how to burn the games properly and how to check them with abgx and how to rip them properly if that's what you're doing. Then if you have problems with it check back.
ive been doing games for a few years now, just download and burn... thats all ive done and all of a sudden bang! very temperamental..... :( yet some games work fine... others at times.....
