Hi I was wondering if this would work. Say I rented a game from blockbuster and saved it onto my harddrive then burned a copy of it. Would I be able to run the game through the hdd using the burned game without any problems??

is your 360 flashed? if not it will not read the game, you can install a game onto a hd but it still needs the game to boot to work.... so if you make a copy your 360 still needs to read the copied game.

A retail copy or a burned copy can be installed to the hard drive. I doesn't matter.

yes it can, but you cannot send the game back to the rental place and then try and play the game. thats was i was getting at. unless you rent the game out again.

I dont think it would work as your console is not flashed to recognise the copied game...
