xbox 360 power light flashing?

hi, i just got some parts for my xbox, i removed the old style heatsinks and put on some new ones with the extra radiator fin, as my power light didnt work on my old power board i also got a new one, my drive has the e64 error so im waiting for a new pcb board to cure this but i have noticed the power light flashes now and the fans seem to get faster and faster? has any1 every had this or know why its doing it?

check under the motherboard. if you have heatgunned or oven tricked it you probably melted some solder points together under the board

The power light flashes if there's no DVD drive connected. The fans speeding up means it's gonna overheat.

when the drive is connected i get the e64 error and 1 bottom red light but the power light still flashes, il wait for the board and see if it works then? i havnt used a heatgun or done anything to the motherboard when it works il overheat it with the fans unplugged to reflow the solder. thanks

if I plugged up dvd drive, the green light stayed solid... I know the problem is not the dvd drive 100% fact. I noticed some solder connections that melted together on backside of motherboard directly under controller ports

e64 means you have the wrong key i think
