hi..again,have got a starview 3,when things went wrong updated software to starview 4,everything working good so far,have been reading about whats going on with nag3,i also have recieved a smart card on 17 june and my box is still goin strong,qestion ive got for you is i have not put my old box back on yet and put smart card in..are they going to know i am using starview box and if my box finaly stops working will i be able to switch back to old box and update channels????my worry is the longer i have smart card without updating it they will want to know why i have left it so long????
your providers box has a talk bac facility on it and yes they will know you are not using it but you can alwasy say you where away or whatever you could also split your cable and have both boxes working
you will get approx 4/5 weeks maybe more maybe less before your channels go once they start to go that will be the end of your starview.
Have a look at the kryptview A780 box that has a work around for the n3 problem
tell them you met a beautifull girl and were tied to the bed for the past few months,lol
and then just say well what would you do, tell the girl she has to go so you can update your box to watch ken&deirdre barlow in cornation street or something
