When I open jungleflasher and go to DVD32 It says "No Drive Detected!" I have a Lite-on 83850C and have it plugged into the ViA 6421 via Sata card. I tried all the techniques listed in the Jungleflasher guide though I do not understand what it means when it talks about BIOS. Any idea's on how I could fix this will be appreciated.

Sincerely
~Mistatic

Are you using a Via 6421a SATA card or onboard SATA?

I have the same problem, via 6421 card with drivers disabled. while booting into windows i do the eject tray thingy, but JF doesn't detect my drive. Im using ck3 lite to power drive and eject tray, havent tried to power cycle 2nd time, will do that later. does the mobo have to have onboard sata? the pci card should suffice, right?

power cycle means,,when you have the drive plugged into the computer,,start jungleflasher,,go to the mtk tab,,and where it says vendor intro,,click on it and a window will popup saying to do the 1 second power cycle,,when you hit yes turn the drive off for 1-2 seconds and then turn it back on,,it should then send the drive into vendor mode,,
