hi, i have the latest ixtreme ts-h943 lt 1.0 to flash to my drive, im currently on ixtreme 1.4 and my wave 4 games will not boot.
if i edit the files with hexeditor, take the key from my orig.bin ($4000-4200) and put it into my lt firmware and flash using dosflash, should this work ok? iv got jungleflasher but it says no via ports on my p.c.(only onboard sata) and it looks abit confusing to me. so i try stick to my method!

NO. Just reflash to 1.0 with JF and you're done. That's it. Don't use dosflash. You have a cake drive to flash.

@OP, do are you using a Via 6421a SATA card? Have you set it up in with no drivers as per the instructions on. If the card isn't showing you must be doing something wrong.

iv managed to do it now "USING JUNGLEFLASHER" it wasnt detecting my drive, and the lt firmware i downloaded was showing as stock? anyway i got ix 1.61 off xbins, got my drie into vendor mode in jungleflasher, read the key and auto copied key etc to hacked firmware, then just clicked write in mtk flash part and it worked, my wave 4,5 and 6 games boot now.
another question if the drive is lite on do i need a probe or something, or do i do the same as above, but use the lite on erase instead?
if modking30 and miketrev would like to reply, it would be very helpful lol :)

The firmware has nothing to do with it showing up. 1.6.1 is out of date and you should be using LT 1.0 to flash. Samsung - intro, power cycle, read, write, outro. That's it.

i may try it later on, im waiting for a new xbox to come as the one im using now has e74 and is lets say KNACKERED, pennys dont work either all glitchy, maybe a jtag should be tried on this one
but like i said can the process you described be done on a lite on drive?

No.
You're going to need extra hardware for a Lite On. It's all in the latest Jungleflasher guide.

You can download the latest tut and version of Jungleflasher from there (in case you're using older versions).
