Ive had a good read around and it seems the best thing to do is to use another drive.

If i buy another drive do I need to do anything to get it working with my 360?

I have kept my sam-ofw and _cfw files if that is any help.

Thanks

If you cant fix with DOSFlash then load your original firmware in the Source in JungleFlasher, load Lite Touch for your drive (pref BenQ), click spoof target to source then write to your new drive.

Yes, if you have to replace your drive, its recommend you get a BenQ over the other.

If you don't spoof it, regardless of live, you xbox will only be able to play DVD's no games.
