I'm getting great results from a Rosewill RCX-TC060 silver compound I get from newegg. In fact, all around, it's performing BETTER by 1-2 degrees C, depending on the application. Only thing that does kinda suck, is the brush in the nail polish type applicator it comes in. 6 grams, lasts forever, and the last time I bought it, it was on sale for 11 bucks shipped.

For all intensive purposes, most nano-silver compounds will be adequate for xbox 360s since you probably don't want to overclock one...RROD is rampant as it is.

"All drives should be updated to Lite Touch + (LT+) firmware if playing on XBOX live. Samsung drives and pre-78/79 Hitachi drives do not utilize AP 2.5. All other drives are considered to be detectable by Microsoft (YMMV). Make sure all rips are ABGX verified, contain SSv2, and patched AP2.5 (where needed). XGD3 must currently be burned on new drive with PC Burner Max firmware for 100% rip. All modded consoles can be potentially unsafe for use on XBOX live."

I use Coolmaster IceFusion. Easy to apply and does the job it's intended to do.

The problem isn't which compound to use, it's addressing adequate cooling. You'll get far better results by adding fans, modifying your case, and so on.

Koolance also makes a pretty good liquid cooling kit for the 360 which is fairly inexpensive. Just add a pump, rad, and fan and you're 360 should see dramatic improvements.
