So i have the 5 100ohm resistors and the male lpt connector i have wired it all up , and also did the 2 switching diodes with the 1 wire that links to the board next to the 2 switching diodes.

I am confused because i have read that its best not to use the 5 100 ohm resistors? instead just use wires from the lpt connector to the board? so i tried wiring up with resistors onto the board directly and it would not work when i ran nand d it went to the 3rd check and then could not detect flash controller.

I then removed the 5 100ohm's resistors and wired it directly using the wires alone no resistors. This time around the power brick light goes red when i plug in the xbox i removed the wiring and the xbox powers on fine.

Out of curiosity im asking are there any noob mistakes im making here? The dash board is jtaggable...my soldering in on point and wired correctly maybe the tutorial i used wasn't right? this is the one i used.

Do not attach it without resistors, you will break your NAND, the voltage of the NAND is lower than your LTP ports hence the resistors.

I always put my resistors on the LTP side of thing, make sure your cable is as short as possible.
