Hi, I have an xbox 360 that was manufactured in November 2005. It was a launch console and has a flashed Hitachi drive. I was wondering if i bought a brand new xbox 360 today, can I just switch my flashed drive with the brand new one so that I can play my backup games?

no, you will need to extract the dvd key from the new dvd drive and then flash it to your old hitachi before you can put it in your new Xbox 360.
