Sony has announced two new updated models of their PlayStation 3 gaming console, each of which has a larger hard drive (HDD) than current models.
The 120GB model will be replaced by a 160GB model, and the 250GB model will be replaced by a 320GB model, each selling for the same price that the current models do.

Honestly, I haven't even used up my 60GB drive on my PS3 yet, so whats the f-in point in a bigger one? What they should do is allow the PS3 to have 320GB drives without that stupid move bundle and sell it at a lower cost. That 160GB model should be selling for $200-$250 imo as well as it adds no added value to the consumer, and 40GB is no added value to the current 120 model.

Two reasons: because they can and also drive persons like me and you nuts cause we need that space for all of our movies, music, game downloads, etc. 500GB would be future-proof for at least a couple of years even if you're data heavy.

What do you do with your PS3? I have 500 Gb and right now I have like 180 Gb free. before I had 80 Gb and I was always urging for space and had to install and uninstall and it wasa pain.
