hey,
i have updated my xbox360 with the new ixtreame frimwire but when i turn on the xbox i get one ring of death. is there a way that i have not put it back together. any help

That's usually an indication of wrong firmware. Are you sure you flashed the right firmware to your drive?

no i was going to update the fireware and Connectivity Kit v3 Pro USB broke. i never got a chance to update the fireware. jungle flasher wouldn't read the drive on the pc so i just put it back together and and that is when e65 error. could it be a screw that i have not put in or not put back together correctly.

Yep, you have either flashed incorrectly or flashed the wrong firmware to your drive. What drive do you have? It maybe recoverable

no i never got a chance to flash it the kit broke when i was trying to get jungle flasher to reconigse the drive. when the pc would read the dvd i just put the drive back in the xbox and put it together. i have a samsung

i never got a chance to up load the new fireware the drive would not connect to the pc, so i just put the drive back together and then got the error. this was the first time that i got the error.

E65 is a DVD drive error, can also be caused by the tray not being fully closed on boot, just to confirm power up your xbox without the DVD drive attached. Fingers crossed that you can now get the drive key or your screwed. What drive do you have?

No, it has to have the correct DVD key which is stored on the DVD drive TSOP chip. Try get your DVD key with a Via 6421a SATA card, if that fails you might need to pay someone with a TSOP reader and if that fails your kinda screwed.
What dash is your 360 running? If its 7371 or below then you might be able to retrive your DVD key with the JTAG hack.
