Hey guyz! Can I switched my kryptview A780 off at night when it's not in use? Any suggestion?

it will take a little longer to load, as it will have to keep connecting to B.Band every time you switch back on
also you will not get updates for new/or frequenzy changed channels
coz thats done when its left in standby mode

hi if i only switch of my broadband router at nite, will it update new/or frequenzy changed channels the next morning when i turn on the router again?

no, as its the box that scans the frequancies, but, if ya ask me, why leave it on? your using power and leaving something running constantly, I wouuld rathur wait for a couple of mins for it to connect to your bband, then having something worse like a bloody fire

if you do connect each day, when you connect and its back on, then put in standby for a few min and it will update that was

yip, chans move rarely, so its not a huge thing to do and its way safer and cheaper

the only problem you get when putting it in standby mode is the next morning you get back all the unwanted deleted channels back so ive turned off the power mode like told to do by hooter and e45,and i just do a scan about once a week

thats good enough 1's a week
also you will notice yourself if any of the channels you already have go missing

chocco1 do you run a seperate broadband provider from your cable tv supplier?
