Got a problem. My drive is Liteon 83850c. I used the console to power the drive and flashed ixtreme lt and it was a good flash. HOWEVER, the console will not detect the drive. I asked a few people at team-xecuter forums and we couldn't come up with a solution. That thread can be found here http://team-xecuter.com/forums/showthread.php?p=288939#post288939 . Anyone else have an idea?

yes...JF will detect the drive. Drive won't eject but will randomly eject once i flash and then won't eject and 360 won't detect.

Which version 8xxx series on is it? If its the v1, what method did you use to flash it? Have you tried to flash back to stock to see if that fixes it? and finally, have you looked at the SATA pins on your Xbox motherboard to make sure the pins on the SATA port haven't snapped?

UPDATE....

After taking a few months off to focus on other issues I finally got back to the xbox. I bought a new drive but could only find a 74850c. I did some reading but want to run it by people to make sure i'm doing the correct steps.

Load dummy.bin from (83850c) in source
Load ix-ltv1.1-748 in target.
spoof.

liteon erase....

finally be able to play games again :-)

am I correct? are there more steps?

while the xbox was on and dvd drive plugged in...i lifted up the drive and the tray ejected and i had the ability to open and close the tray. Sat it back down...and nothing. I'm assuming that it is a faulty cable or mobo..
