burning process failed.

I'm running winXP, 2500+ Mobile(OC to 2.5ghz), 1gig PC3500, Sony DRU-510...

I can't get a dvd to completely burn to save my life. I have probably wasted over 20 disks to get dvds to copy properly. I have tried soooo many things, from this forum and others. I tried Dvd x copy Plat, Xpress, dvd shrink, dvd decrypter, etc. With various combinations of each. Media, I've tried them all, I'm just soooo angry that this isnt working. I have burned disks before without any problems, but after a fresh install of windows and all the latest patches, drivers, updates, I still can't get disk to completely burn.

I've tried reinstalling Nero, etc so I'm just lost. I don't have many logs left, so I wont post them, I just wanted to know if anyone has any ideas as to what I could do...

Maybe it's the burner? Have you tried returning it for a different one or running it on a different computer?
