yes, there is always the chance that MS can detect hacked FW on your drive.

Hello, I am currently thinking about flashing my 360 so that I can play backed up games, however I'm a little skepticle to do this because I don't want to get my only console banned from live with reach just around the corner. I don't plan on playing any of my backed up games on live, only the originals (unless someone can convince me that there is a 100% chance of doing this without being banned). So my question to you is this. IF I only play legit games on live is there any chance at all (with the current title update) that I could get banned from live just for having my disc drive flashed?

I appreciate anyone who answeres my question. :)

Well shit. That sucks. :/

Do you think a practicle solution might be to flash it anyways and then just return it to its original firmware everytime I wanna go online, or would that be too much of a bitch to do everytime?
