This randomly happens to me too. I had it happen the other day, played 2 days later and it was back to normal, got a new achievement and it went back to black, and now it's been fine again and I've been getting achievements.. very strange.
It may have been the game as well, the first time i burned that transformers game i had this problem kinda often when i played or loaded a certain map, i burned another copy and it never happened again.
