well if they did must be a private one that is why there is no info and not likely to be either by the looks of it

who would you be connecting to? if its a prviate share, would they not need money to pay for the service which you are using? usually private shares are that, private between a few friends or a circle of folk that know each other and best kept that way and off places like this, as some folk (not all) on here can't close their mouth long enough to draw breath, never mind keeping something like that under wraps and openly discussing it for the world and their wife to read

Yep some people just love to try and find out what is what instead of taking the advice on here if are asked would they like to join a share its private otherwise there would be info all over the place so people if someone is offering you a product and it works take it and keep it quiet.
And as the above poster has said its not up for open discussions with everyone and its mother reading on an open forum thats why people keep things quiet or they go underground purly for that reason best to keep it closed

Truth be told, if they kept the Original boxs quiet and underground, online retailers didnt get as greedy, people didnt post every detail, we could have our boxs working, so if anyone is on a private share, keep it that way or you will be looking about again,
When looking the proverbial gift horse in the mouth, make sure its mouth is kept close

Kryptview are supposed to be bringing out a receiver with a DVB-T tuner for the Irish MMDS (Chorus) market,A790T .
However according to some sources its already out and in use .

It may be private but it does seem highly unlikely seeing as Kryptview are the manufacturers and they havent exactly kept the A780 private.
To be honest the best option for people on MMDS is to get a subscription and get 3 multiroom boxes .
Then give the 3 multiroom boxes to friends and split the sub 4 ways .
Works out at ~23 euro each per month for the full sub and you have a guaranteed freeze free sub.No worrying about broadband issues or servers going down/being raided.
UPC have no way of detecting where the multi room boxes are as there is no feedback.

does the 780 work in ireland NO it dont maybe that is why its been kept quiet
well there ya go theres your reply to your question and you have answered it as well
you will also have to take a sub out as well otherwise you will have either no aerial or no downconverter as upc will take these back on closing your account so the split ?23 plus your split with you mate and also upc boxes also freeze and pixalate no difference

You can easily buy your own aerial ,downconverter and psu.
MMDS is not like cable where the cable feed needs to be live ,with MMDS the signal is in the air so all you need is an aerial to pick it up .
Do all the people with Kryptview boxes have a sub ? I seriously doubt it.
"UPC boxes freeze and pixellate too", they do to a point but they arent relying on a key update over a broadband link every 6-7 seconds .It freezes due to signal reasons ,not encryption reasons.
Are you trying to tell me that an official UPC box will freeze more than a Lan based box ?

depending on your set up connections etc you will have problems if your set up is not 100%...... 99% of people with dodgy boxes now have subs do to the signal levels been turned down if they only have broadband from their provider hence you get problems.
yes you can get the aerials on the net and downconverters from the net and tbh they are shit if you want a proper connection and not have problems i suggest people take a min sub out all the time over even splitting their broadband feed otherwise you end up with poor picture and a lot of pixalation

I specifically said MMDS receivers ,since when can you get broadband via MMDS ???
Signal levels can be turned down via MMDS ? Thats news to me .
In most cases MMDS is received via an aerial and there is no control over individual power levels ,you are getting confused with Cable networks my friend. There is a big difference.

Some of them are shit but alot of them are better than the stuff used by UPC.
You can get downconverters with higher gain ,lower noise figures etc.

Thats true but all I'm saying is that it can be easily done by oneself with a bit of knowledge, its not rocket science, its easier than installing a satellite dish ffs.

I suggested a perfectly viable method of getting cheap viewing and E45 tried to misconstrue it and come up with ridiculous excuses as to why it wouldnt work.He is talking through his arse.
