I was reading through the Xbox Forums and started noticing Live members were being banned due to others filing bogus claims against them, whether its because they were getting beat and got upset or fun trash talk. Is that whats really happening here, has M$ gone to the notion that everyone's a winner?

MS don't ban people base on those stupid 'player is too good, player quits, player isn't good'. You can bet your bottom dollar that MS has proof of anything that breaks the ToC or any other document you agree to so that it holds up in court. Ya know, if any armchair lawyer wants to waste tons of money for a worthless cause.

they do ban if you get one the tampering things. well TO many of them but even then it is not usually. i have been reported by a whole lobby for tampering just because i was laying in a patch of grass on one thinks of and had a nuke after maybe 4 minutes in game. it really was a laugh for me. but i was not banned it takes more than 50 ppl to do it i would say

I was reading an article a couple weeks back about how you can get anyone temporarily banned for 7 days.

If you call up support and tell them "my Live account has been stolen", and then tell them the gamertag (of who you want banned), they automatically put a 7 day suspension on the account while it's being investigation.

The article went on to describe how even if you have absolutely no other personal info to prove it's your account (which it really isn't) other than the tag, MS still implements the suspension.

The guy written the article because he's well known some how and has this happen to him numerous times and he's pissed off because people keep doing this to him.

I'll see if I can find it again.
