So...... I see Flash complete I get no errors or anything! Yay. Well not yay. I put in a backup game I have and it doesn't work. I know the game works because I have used it in many other Flashed consoles. I have also tried other games. Please help me!!

It looks like you flashed the drive Ok...but I suspect that your media is not a Verbatim disc and Hitachi drives are really picky about media. I would try reburning your game onto verbatim media and trying again. If the verbatim media does not work for whatever reason, try calibrating or replacing the laser....or test by using another 360 drive.
"All drives should be updated to Lite Touch + (LT+) firmware if playing on XBOX live. Samsung drives and pre-78/79 Hitachi drives do not utilize AP 2.5. All other drives are considered to be detectable by Microsoft (YMMV). Make sure all rips are ABGX verified, contain SSv2, and patched AP2.5 (where needed). XGD3 must currently be burned on new drive with PC Burner Max firmware for 100% rip. All modded consoles can be potentially unsafe for use on XBOX live."

Thank you for the reply. The discs I am using are in fact verbatim discs. I have tried the games in other flashed systems and they work fine. In fact one was the exact same as the dvd drive im using. Any other ideas would help. I have heard of spoofing to make it think its a different drive but I dont know if that is relevant here. Please let me know what you guys think
Spoofing probably would work but first you can try cleaning the laser with q-tip & alcohol and doing a pot calibration as MrGreaser suggested. I've had several hitachis work after not being able to read burned games after doing both cleaning/calibration. The calibration is fairly easy to do as long as you have a multimeter (do not attempt to calibrate without the meter though!)
