OK so Sony are releasing PS3s with larger hdds in around 10 days time in the UK. The ones with 320gb hdds.

So question is what firmware will they have on them, 3.40, 3.41 or the exploit blokcing 3.42? Sony only just released 3.42 to the public, what are teh chances of them upgrading thousands of consoles in a week?

If they release on time, probably 3.41
if they are delayed, probably 3.42

It would be hard to upgrade so many consoles as many have already shipped...but this is a big deal after all.

lol I dont even know why I asked, I;ll be using the new one as my official one so wont matter, but I guess it'll be good to know for those who end up buying a new one to run the exploit on.

If the new 320gb ones come with 3.42 I can see the 120 and current 250gb one selling out fast!
