hey guys, I recently aquired a lot of 10 xbox 360 consoles, all had 3 RROD... I was planning on fixing what I could, and selling them off. I started checking out the serials, and noticed that some were still under warranty... so I started to regester some of the systems thru the xbox 360 support page, and was successful with 2 so far... My question is..... is it ok to regester multiple systems? more importantly request a repair for multiple systems at the same time?
I have a feeling that out of the 10, I might be able to send back about half under warranty... I have 2 systems that don't say "manufacture date", but say "service date" which I'm assuming were replacement units already... both "service" dates were of 2009..
I personally have never sent a system back to MS, and am not sure if there's anything I need to watch for... is it ok for all systems to be regestered to 1 address?
By the way, I live in CANADA, so I dont know if that makes a difference...
I've got about 10 consoles registered to one address. I registered the ones that were not expired, and every single one of them (6) came back fixed/replaced. I sent out all six on the same day, and received them back within 2 weeks. A few arrived on different dates. I've never had an issue with sending and/or receiving consoles from MS. I live in the US, but I'm sure that Canada isn't any different.
sweet... thanks billb.. I just didn't want to do something dumb without first getting some info.... I've got a few more to regester and send in... Like I said though, I just got these systems, all I've done is plug them in, and makre sure they were flashing 3 red lights...
I have no idea what the history of these systems are... should I be worried about sending in systems that *MIGHT* have been modded? The cases of the systems I want to send in are in pretty good condition, no tamper marks at the back, and all have seals...
I think if they're modded if the seals are in place they'll either go ahead and fix/replace em or send it back saying it's been tampered with or something to that effect. I've heard of both being true so I guess it's just the luck of the draw. They dont just keep em or anything like that though so no worries :)

I agree... but I just don't have the time to sit there and fix all the systems just to check the dash.. I wish there were an easier way.... I wouldn't want to go through all the trouble to check, and find out that its not jtag'able and maybe screw up an opportunity to have had that system replaced with a brand new one (or refurb'd one or whatever MS sends back).
I have one system in particular that has some pretty obvious signs that its been opened... its clear that someone shoved a screwdriver into the notches at the back... so you can see the pry marks, but the seal is still intact, and serials match... what do you think the luck would be in trying to send that one back?
