VPN setup on Virgin router to hide IP

Hi I received my kryptview today, hooray happy days.

I've been reading around the net about setting up a vpn for the kv box via PPTn. I have to sub to a vpn site. get login details etc. flash the Virgin D link N router with DD wrt software as mentioned in the tut somewhere on this forum. I read that it is possible to only route the kv box through the vpn tunnel and keep my pc and virgin modem on original pass through. Any ideas what setting need to be used for this. I can change the basic setting from dynamic to pptn. Also someone mentioned buying another router and using it for the kv box. Also in light of the phone tapping incident is snooping in to someones data transmission the same invasion of privacy.
