Hi,
im not sure with these boxes so need some help please if someone will please help. With this box does it connect from router to box and play channels straight off or do i need to be connected to a server or anything? also is there a chance of virgin finding out e.g finding out I.P or things?

you will,need first to flash the box then scan it and then connect it to your router job done all info at the bottom of my signiture

I'm going to get one of these, I'm not going to set up any safety things as I don't think Virmin could find out could they am I wrong? And with these are they connected to servers where you have to pay or do you not need to pay any subscriptions with kryptview?

you buy the box put the software on scan the box plug in your internet into the back of the box job done sit down and watch tv

hi I installed my kv box following the tutorial etc.
Did scan but the nearest provider to me is harrow on 41047, but this does not show in the list. However I scanned on the watford id but do not get sky sp 1,3 and no sky movies in the epg listing. Any ideas how to get this.

quick question lads once you have connected kv to internet and started to watch is your IP addy stored for good with server so if they get raided vm have got ya

there is no need to worry and yes it is same as you are now on here and your ip is also now stored on this server
If you dont want to take the risk go legit and get a sub

beware if you are using virgin bband to connect they will be on the case. I've found that since I've connected the kv box. I have got scrambled channels on my sub box, on ITV1 and a few others work, others are fuzzy, glitchy and some say call and quote 3202. This happened as soon as switched off the kv box and started watching on the sub box. I've had to call virmin and now they are going to monitor for 24 to 48 hours. Then my internet wouldn't connect so I thought they must be on to me. So I thought I'll hide my kv box incase they raid my house. I see what happens tommorow.

I bet you have the cable split from your subbed box is this correct ?? or do you have a separate feed and virgin or any other provider would not even know you are using that box as all they see is packets going back and forth just like they would if you where on google its just a coincidence thats all

yes try google skywonder but they are only on pre order as everywhere is sold out due to the large demand new stock supposed to be in this week

the fuzzy picture and no internet problem was down to the cable input into the splitter. which i fixed. so using a splitter has not made a difference in signal quality. as i tried scan with and without at 55 and 88 when channels are found. to improve picture quality i changed contrast and saturation settings on the kv box.
question: i assume that if i turn off power search mode, then with box in standby it wont talk to cs server.
