I have the same problem.
my sega, master system, snes, psx all work. It's just that when my hard drive loads it gives a time span, so if i decided to play a game, I will play it for 30 minutes, but then I will hear my hard drive go into idle mode, then when i want to play another one, I have to reboot the hard drive and the wii because it gives me a DSI error -1
I have a WD 500G My Book USB HDD.
